Lymington to alpaca country isn't a trip most visitors think to make, but it's an easy one — and if you've exhausted the usual Forest walks and quayside cafes, it's a genuinely different way to spend a couple of hours. Itchen Valley Country Park sits in West End, on the Eastleigh side of Southampton, which puts it roughly 35–40 minutes' drive from central Lymington depending on traffic through the Forest.
