What to wear

Sturdy closed-toe shoes (wellies when wet) and layers for the outdoors. We walk in most weather, so bring a waterproof.

Parking

Ample park car park: from £1.30 (1 hour) to £4.30 (4+ hours). Free Blue Badge parking after validation.

Timing

Allow around 2 hours for the full experience. Please arrive a few minutes early — advance booking is essential.

Dogs

No dogs on the alpaca walk itself, as alpacas are naturally cautious — but dogs are welcome on the park's wider trails.

Who can walk?

All ages welcome

  • ✓Infants — carried in a sling or baby carrier (no pushchairs on the walk).
  • ✓Ages 3–12 — walk alongside a paying adult who holds a second lead on the same alpaca.
  • ✓Ages 12–16 — may lead their own alpaca, accompanied by an adult.
  • ✓Ages 16+ — walk independently.
  • ✓Everyone needs a valid ticket for insurance; children should be able to walk about a mile or be carried.
Inclusive walks

Accessible alpaca walks

We run a more relaxed, accessible walk every Wednesday, 10:00–11:30, from April to October, designed for anyone who'd prefer a gentler pace.

The park has over 5km of surfaced pathways and free Blue Badge parking, and we offer free carer tickets so everyone can enjoy the experience together.
