Your group arrives at Itchen Valley Country Park and is met by an experienced handler who runs through a short, friendly briefing. Everyone is then paired with a halter-trained alpaca and, lead rope in hand, the whole team sets off together along shaded woodland trails. The walk lasts around two hours at a gentle, chatty pace with plenty of stops. There is nothing to memorise and no performance to give — the animals set the tone, and the tone is calm.

What to wear and bring
Dress for a countryside stroll rather than the office. Sturdy trainers or boots, a waterproof if the forecast is uncertain, and layers you do not mind getting a little muddy are all you need. Leave heels and dry-clean-only outfits at home. We will handle everything to do with the animals; your team just needs to turn up ready to enjoy it.
